Artist Influences
One artist that heavily influenced my personal style is Bob Ross. His painting videos are the reason I ventured into experimenting with oil paints, which has been very beneficial to my progress painting. His love for nature has influenced my art as well, and has driven me to capture a subject I love through painting, the ocean. His calming videos and easy to follow techniques have also encouraged me to work through problems with my art and to implement some of his lessons with my own projects. I feel immediately calmed when viewing his work and inspired to pick up a brush and experiment when watching 'The Joy of Painting'.
